Contact Slot Machine
Try Play n Go Slots
Taking you to a dense jungle inhabited by Aztecs, Play’n GO’s Contact slot will provide you with quite the gaming time. You will be able to take advantage of Clusters in the formation of your winning combos and you’ll be able to make the most out of the several special features to finally get to an incredible payout.
The Cluster mechanics present in Contact will require 5 matching symbols in order for you to create a winning combo. Contrary to many other slots that feature these mechanics, the winning combos you create are not removed in Contact, but they cascade down and stick on the reels while new symbols slide down and replace for the non-winning symbols which were removed.
You will notice many Multipliers on the reels, which will be beneficial if you fill the entire second, fourth and sixth reel with winning combos. You will then get a 2x, 3x, or 4x Multiplier added to your wins, respectively.
You won’t get a conventional Scatter in Contact, but you will be able to activate the Bonus Round when you manage to land winning symbols all the way to the top. As soon as you activate it, you get 3 Free Spins. But, then you will see that this is a streak spins feature where the Clusters that remained on the grid start growing as you land matching symbols that can connect to them. Should you manage to fill the second, third, fifth or sixth row with winning symbols, you will get a 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x Multiplier, respectively. However, should you fill the first, fourth or seventh row, you will be awarded one of the three Modifiers: Block Destroyer, Symbol Upgrade, or Extra Free Spins.
The Block Destroyer destroys 1 of the Multiplier blocks to the left of the grid, giving space to the other blocks to move down, with the potential of allowing for extra increasing blocks to take its place. The Symbol Upgrade upgrades 1 of the winning Clusters to the next best symbol. Extra Free Spins give you 1 additional Free Spins.
However, if you manage to fill the entire grid with winning symbols during the main game, you get a Super Bonus Round, where the 3 Modifiers become even more generous. The Block Destroyer destroys 3 Multiplier blocks, the Symbol Upgrade upgrades all winning Clusters to the next best symbol, and you get 3 Free Spins instead of 1 with the Extra Free Spins Modifier. This is when you get the most out of this game, the 1,517x the stake payout.
Theme & Design
Contact has a common Aztec-themed design, although the reels which are set against a tower or a temple look quite impressive. You can see the jungle in the background, and two burning skulls on both sides of the reels, at the bottom. The symbols are stone carved, portraying different animals such as jaguars, monkeys, birds, snakes and turtles. The highest-paying symbols are the 4 Aztec Masks, the purple one being the most valuable. For 5 Purple Masks across a payline, you get 7.5x the stake payout.
We were glad to see that there were no playing-card symbols present on the reels because that would have ruined the whole impression about this slot. The music in the background is powerful and stands out, as well.
Wagering & Paylines
Considering the Cluster-pays mechanics, the betting range won’t be affected by a number of paylines or coins. It will start at $0.20 and will reach $100.00. The RTP is the average one, 96.55%.
When it comes to payouts, as mentioned, if you manage to go through all the special features, you will get 1,517x the stake maximum payout. If you play the game for the max bet, this means that a $151,700.00 payout will be yours.
In all, Contact seems like a very interesting slot game. It gives a decent payout potential, the gameplay will keep you occupied for a while, and you get superb visual and sound effects included in the design. Play’n GO did a great job here, so we would highly recommend you try the game.
